Begovic: We had to battle through.

STOKE goalkeeper Asmir Begovic is relieved to have come through Sunday's tough FA Cup tie at Crawley unscathed and now has his sights set on Valencia in Thursday's Europa League tie.

Last year's losing finalists avoided a fifth-round upset against the lowest-ranked side left in the competition thanks to goals from Jon Walters and Peter Crouch at Broadfield Stadium.

"We really like the cup," Begovic said. "The whole club and the whole tradition here is to give our all in the FA Cup. It looked more comfortable in the end than it probably was. We had a battle and they gave it their all so we had to really graft to get the result."
