COVENTRY return to the scene of their biggest win of the season when they travel to the South coast to face Poole tonight.

The Buildbase Bees stunned the sport with their 63-32 demolition of the Pirates at Wimborne Road in April, a result which set the scene for a miserable campaign for the defending champions.

Poole are out of contention for honours this year but, ironically, now appear to have one of the strongest line-ups in the Elite League after a raft of changes; they remarkably threw away a winning position at Brandon last month.

Since that encounter, the Pirates have ditched under-performing Swede swede: see turnip.  Daniel Davidsson and replaced him with young Dane Leon Madsen, who makes his debut tonight.

The home side are also yet to confirm whether skipper Bjarne Pedersen Bjarne Pedersen (born 12 July 1978 in Holstebro, Denmark) is a Danish motorcycle speedway rider who most recently took part in the 2006 Speedway Grand Prix season. Career highlights

is fit to return after missing a heavy defeat at Ipswich last Thursday with concussion.

Bees, who have won all three of the previous meetings between the sides this season, expect to go into action with the same team which gained two crucial home wins at the end of July, although a positional switch sees Martin Smolinski move up to No.3 to partner Edward Kennett, with Olly Allen moving to No.5.
