Troy Batchelor has matured into an established heat-leader since his early days as Bees' No.8 three years ago, while Ryan Fisher remains a Coventry asset but is doubling-up at Blunsdon.

Fisher would not have been considered for the role at Brandon as his Edinburgh also race home matches on Fridays, which means he misses tomorrow's fixture.

Bees are unchanged from last week's successes at Ipswich and at home to Belle Vue, with impressive newcomer Jordan Frampton continuing in the doubling-up position.

Meanwhile promoter Colin Pratt has explained the position regarding the Elite League's Easter Monday shutdown, which means that unusually there is no Bank Holiday action at Brandon next week.

He said: "The British speedway programme appears to have finally succumbed to Poland, and I find it sad in many ways as it's the first time for many years that wewon't be racing on Easter Monday. "We and Wolverhampton were probably the last two clubs to attempt to run on Easter Monday, and even Wolves are coming off their normal race-night next week and racing on Tuesday instead. The hope is that by allowing Poland to run on Monday, we won't encounter any other fixture problems with them during the season - but it's interesting to see the number of contracts which are being torn up and re-negotiated over there at the moment!"
