Bees duo on form in Sweden.

SPEEDWAY: Coventry stars Scott Nicholls and Andreas Jonsson began the countdown to this weekend's British Grand Prix at Cardiff with double- figure scores in Sweden last night.

Nicholls collected paid 12 as Smederna defeated Rospiggarna 50-46 at Eskilstuna, while Jonsson marked his return from illness with the same score for Luxo Stars in a 48-48 draw at VMS Elit.

World Champion Jason Crump's debut for VMS Elit attracted a crowd of over 5,000 to Vetlanda, but he managed only paid 10 and was beaten twice by the Bees skipper.
