Bees and Panthers wait on their skippers.

Both will be hoping that their captains Chris Harris Chris or Christopher Harris may refer to:

, with the Panthers already having to use rider replacement for second heat-leader Kenneth Bjerre who is out with a broken leg.

Olly Allen was due for a fitness test yesterday but Andreas Messing has suffered a reaction to his leg injury after a comeback in Sweden last week.

The Bees reserve has to sit it out again, and with No.8 Ben Barker racing for his Premier League club Stoke, Bees call in King's Lynn's Rusty Harrison - who does at least have Elite League experience with Belle Vue - as a guest for both this afternoon's away match and the Brandon return tonight.

Peterborough also have a gap at reserve after Henrik Moller suffered a non-speedway injury in Denmark, and they are rumoured to have been chasing talented young Australian Ty Proctor to take over their No.8 duties and come into their side today.

Bees will be anxious for both matches to beat the weather as they are already some way behind several other clubs in terms of matches raced.
