The true lavender (L. and honey or a chocolate stout containing cocoa - these are just some of the unique flavours on offer at the Harbury Beer Festival, today and tomorrow. More than 1,000 connoisseurs of traditional beer will descend de·scend v. de·scend·ed, de·scend·ing, de·scends v.intr. 1. To move from a higher to a lower place; come or go down. 2. on the village, near Leamington in Warwickshire, to try out some of the 60 or so real ales and ten traditional ciders. This year's theme is colours. "A spot of research showed a wide range of beers covering the whole spectrum of the rainbow. We have milds, bitters, lagers, stouts, porters, even fruit and ginger beers," said organiser John Crossling. The range also features acclaimed Green Valley Farmhouse Vintage dry cider and a perry. The festival opens this evening in the village hall. Admission is pounds 2 evenings and pounds 1 Saturday lunchtime.
