Bedtime tales for little ones.


MORE than 130 pupils at Ravensdale Primary School returned top school at bedtime bedtime Sleep disorders The time when one attempts to fall asleep–as distinguished from the time when one gets into bed  for a reading evening.

The event was held at the school in Ravensdale Road, Wyken, Coventry, to highlight the benefits of parents reading to their children at bedtime.

 and drank cocoa and ate biscuits. The stories were read by Julia Etheridge who is Coventry City Council's literacy adviser.

Parents and teachers were invited to the event as well with some of them arriving in their pyjamas.

 said: "We wanted to promote reading within the school community and to help children see that reading is an enjoyable, important and fun life skill.

"We also wanted to provide parents with practical tips for helping children to read at home."
