Bednar: We'll get goals; Czech hitman believes in Albion's strike-force.

ROMAN Bednar believes Albion have enough fire-power in their squad to ensure Premier League survival.

The Czech striker has scored the club's only goal so far this season, netting from the spot in The Hawthorns' defeat against Everton.

But Bednar has otherwise found himself marginalised due to Albion's five-man midfield mid·field

Bednar is confident Albion's front men will soon start hitting the back of the net. "I believe we can score enough goals for the team," he said.

"It's early in the season and so far Ish has played up front on his own and it's never easy to score goals from that position. "But he has played very well and caused problems for our opponents and he has had chances.

"He hasn't managed to take them yet and he was down in the dressing room at Bolton because he knew he had had chances to win the game. But he showed last season that he can take chances.

"That's the way it goes as a striker and I don't think he has a problem with taking chances because he did it last season."

"And I know I can score goals. In pre-season I missed a few chances and wasn't very confident but I scored against Mallorca and the confidence came back straight away. I got goals for the reserves and scored the penalty so I feel really sharp."
