Beckham's new bosses at AC Milan could be 'dictator' Gaddafi and his son!

London, Sep 20 (ANI): Star midfielder David Beckham will not be able to dictate terms to his boss at AC Milan in January, as it is reported that one of the world's most feared dictators, Libya's Colonel Gaddafi, wants to buy the team from Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi.

His son Saadi, is brokering the deal. And, if the price is right Beckham will fly back to discover a real tyrant is pulling all the strings, according to sources close to the Serie A giants.

The Daily Star quoted one Italian sports commentator as describing the takeover as a "very real possibility" as a result of Saadi Gaddafi's friendship with Berlusconi, who is known to want to off-load the club.

Saadi has been close to the super-rich Italian premier since his own far from successful playing days with Serie A minnows Perugia.

He made just one appearance in the first team before failing a drug test.

He then became a director at mighty Juventus, in which a Libyan consortium has 7.5 percent stake.

And, Saadi is likely to handle the day-to-day running of AC Milan if he can persuade his dad to pay Berlusconi's huge asking price.

So if the deal goes through, England star Beckham will find himself in the sights of two despots next year.

One of Beckham's teammates at the LA club, which is in strong contention for an MLS play-off spot, joked: "If Gaddafi owns AC Milan by the time David returns, maybe he can get his new boss to declare war on North Korea. But it's no laughing matter when crackpot dictators start muscling in on any sport."

"As far as AC Milan are concerned, all David can do is get his head down and get on with it, no matter who is in charge. We've been ribbing him since we heard the news - but he doesn't seem concerned," he added. (ANI)
