Bechstein establishes New York showroom: Bechstein Piano.C. BECHSTEIN There are several people named Bechstein:

Located on West 58th Street, Bechstein Piano Centre is just a block from Carnegie Hall Carnegie Hall Concert hall in New York, N.Y., U.S. It was endowed by the industrialist Andrew Carnegie at the insistence of the conductor Walter Damrosch (1862–1950). and a few blocks from Lincoln Center Lincoln Center New York’s modern theater complex. Bechstein; Bechstein Academy, whose slightly smaller sizes echo Bechsteins of old; W. Hoffman, designed by and made in Europe by C. Bechstein, and Euterpe, Bechstein's sole Asian-made (but German-inspected and finished) offering. Bechstein took occupancy of the building in early May, but the grand opening ceremony is slated for September 2007.
