Sposato, who graduated from South Eugene in 1997, worked five years on the UO sports video crew, taping games and practices and assisting coaches on video matters.

Chris Maletis of Portland shot a 4-under-par 68 to wrap up the first OGA Players Championship title Sunday at Waverly Country Club in Milwaukie.

Maletis, playing from the senior men's tees, had a 9-under 135 total to finish three shots ahead of ex-Siuslaw High School standout Jesse Schutte, who shot a 67 from the longest set of tees.
