Beauty deal on 6th Ave.

Orin Wilf, president of Skyline Developers, announced the signing of a new lease for Sue Devitt Beauty at 1040 Avenue of the Americas, his 24 story office building in the fashion district across from Bryant Park.

Skyline's exclusive leasing agent, William Cohen, executive vice president and principal of Newmark Knight Frank, arranged the transaction. "This lease was also a result of the incredibly successful broker event we held at the building," Cohen said. "Brokers saw the capital improvements made by Skyline--especially the ultra high-end prebuilt spaces that were created."

Sue Devitt is leasing a prebuilt suite on the 9th floor of approximately 4,000s/f that has been newly completed featuring marble reception area, glass walled conference room, full height wooden doors, and pantry with stainless steel designer appliances, above standard lighting, multiple thermostatic zones off individual controlled HVAC systems and individual metered electric.

Wilf noted, "This building is attracting a class of tenant that really appreciates its coveted commuter-friendly location and its sophisticated new design."
