SEXY Suzanne McCabe would rather go naked than wear fur and that's the bare truth.

The blonde beauty burst into the history books yesterday when she became the first Irish person to pose naked for animal rights charity Peta, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.

Stars such as Charlize Theron, Pamela Anderson, Jamelia and Eva Mendes have all stripped off for its "I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur" campaign to highlight the plight of animals killed for their skins. And now Suzanne has bared all to make people think twice about buying or wearing fur.

Peta's Poorva Joshipura said: "Suzanne and Ireland are setting an example that every person and every country in the world should follow, because there's nothing 'beautiful' about fur.

"On fur farms - where minks pace frantically and bite and chew at themselves because of the frustration of being confined to a tiny cage - life is as ugly as it gets."

Suzanne, a finalist in Miss Universe Ireland last year, isn't just a pretty face.

She has a degree in psychology and a masters in business studies.

Animal Rights Action Network's John Carmody said she's not just bright and beautiful, she's also brave.

He added: "Suzanne is determined to combat cruelty, so she's baring skin to save animals' skins.

"She wants the animals to keep their fur on their backs."
