Beauty: Make me a star; Police worker Kelle Bowers impersonating ex-Big Breakfast presenter Kelly Brook? It must be the work of the M gang.

When we spotted Kelle Bowers, an admin assistant for the South Wales police, patrolling last year's Clothes Show, we thought, `'Ello, 'ello, what's going on 'ere then, she looks the spit of ex-Big Breakfast presenter Kelly Brook.' So we apprehended the 19-year-old and took her in for questioning.

Did Kelle agree that she resembles the bodacious Ms B? `I think she's stunning,' said Kelle. `But my hair's a lot more coarse and difficult to manage than hers.' Kelle also said that, off-duty, her style is more T-shirt and jeans than the Julien Macdonald numbers that barely cover ex-lingerie model Ms Brook's assets at those swanky premieres.

We asked Bill Underwood, session stylist for Charles Worthington, to show Kelle how to calm down her frizzy locks and transform them into shiny, controlled waves.

`Kelly Brook has naturally sleek hair, so this Kelle needs to tame hers first by blow-drying it with a round brush to smooth the cuticles, then slicking serum over the surface before curling it with Velcro rollers.'

Next came the make-up. To create the girlie, wide-eyed, pouty look that's Kelly's trademark, make-up artist Malin swept black liquid eyeliner along the top lashes, extending outwards, then curving slightly under the lower lash line.

She blushed up Kelle's rosy cheeks and then, to make her plump lips even more voluptuous, applied a sugary pink lipstick with a brush for a defined shape, adding gloss to the lower lip.

Once we'd finished, we took down Kelle's statement. `I'm nicking all these beauty ideas!' she confessed.

Unless you're used to applying it, liquid eyeliner can be tricky. If your hand isn't steady, try using a pen liner or, like the professionals, a fine-tipped brush.
