Beaufield Discovers 12.03 G/T Gold in Sedimentary Rocks at Opinaca Property Adjoining Virginia's Eleonore.

OTTAWA -- Beaufield Consolidated Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:BFD) is pleased to announce partial, early stage results from a mapping and sampling program carried out on part of the north central portion of its Opinaca property.This portion of the property is located within Virginia's Eleonore property and contains approximately 7 kilometres of strike length of the favourable sedimentary unit hosting Virginia's significant Roberto Gold discovery and other gold prospects.

The work was conducted by Geologica Inc. of Val-d'Or, over a three-week period.Very little previous work was done on the Beaufield property.Work consisted of local prospecting and rock sampling along shorelines.A total of 150 rock samples were collected, bagged, tagged and sent to Bourlamaque Assay Laboratory, Val-d'Or. Assays were for Gold, Silver, Copper, Zinc and Arsenic.

Assay results have been received from 113 samples. Of these 25 samples contained anomalous gold values (greater than 20 ppb) and four samples contained highly anomalous arsenic values, an apparent indicator for gold in the area.

The most significant samples from four different locations were:

#84220   4.20 g/t gold, 6.4 g/t silver in a Granite Rusty Zone
   #84229   12.03 g/t gold in Greywackes
   #84286   6.02 g/t gold, 0.9 g/t silver in Greywackes
   #84289   0.097 g/t gold, 3.33% arsenic in Sheared Basalts near
            contact with Greywackes

These results will be followed up on a priority basis when Geologica has completed its analysis.Presently, another geological sampling crew is working on the northern portion of the Beaufield property, which covers the diorite-greywacke contact, where a grid is being cut, which will be surveyed by geochemistry and magnetics.Two grids are also being cut and surveyed in the southern portion of Beaufield's 5,600 hectares (56 square km) property.

Beaufield management considers these initial gold results in the favorable geological environment of sedimentary units consisting of conglomerates and greywackes would be consistent with what is being seen at Virginia's Eleonore property.

Alain-Jean Beauregard and Daniel Gaudreault of Geologica Groupe-Conseil are the Qualified Persons (QP) for some of Beaufield's projects and for all matters related to sampling procedures, technical information and the supervision of ongoing exploration work on the Opinaca project. Thus, they can testify to the precision and exactitude of the data and the mining and geological knowledge of the Opinaca property, as required by National Instrument 43-101 and its annexes with respect to the reporting and content of this press release.
