Most dark circles are caused by the appearance of veins beneath the thin skin under our eyes. As we age the skin under our eyes becomes thinner and more wrinkled.

Commonly referred to as eyelid surgery, blepharoplasty is a medical procedure used to repair droopy eyelids by removing the excess skin, fat, and muscle that can build up with age.

It is caused mainly by a build up of fluid under the eyes. This is a result of things like poor fluid drainage and weaker capillaries which can break and allow fluid to leak into the flesh causing those puffy bags.

The top eye cream of the major cosmetics companies typically treats the loss of connective tissue through the introduction of collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid in topical products.

Instead, dermatologists and plastic surgeons agree that this is caused by capillaries that leak blood close the skin's surface. When this blood begins to oxidize, it turns a bluish red color, similar to an ugly bruise. And since the skin under the eyes is very thin, this leads to the appearance of dark circles.

The silky or matte eye makeups hide the texture of your skin and hide wrinkle lines. Set tones of peach or champagne from the eyelashes to the brow area to lighten-up your eyes.

Once a month use a home steam treatment to thoroughly draw out impurities from the face. Add boiling water to a basin or bowl and add two drops of tea tree oil. Place your face over this with a towel covering and gently let the steam open and cleanse the pores.

Eye gels or creams are specially designed to be safe to apply onto the delicate skin around the eyes. In addition to providing much-needed moisture to the eye skin, some eye gels/creams contain known skin-lightening ingredients.

Regular exercise, at any age, keeps muscles toned and blood flowing. It also requires that you consume more water, (exercise hopefully makes you thirsty) and more water cleanses and hydrates the cells, potentially keeping them from drying out as fast.

Surgical eye lifts can give you dramatic changes and improvements in a short period of time. You do need to schedule appointments for the consolation and then to schedule your surgery.

Hydroxatone line is the Hydrolyze? under eye treatment. It helps to diminish the dark circles that form under your eyes. It also has anti-wrinkle properties to help combat wrinkles that form near and around the eye.

The formula should be light, non greasy and enhanced with Vitamin E to assist in the delaying of the signs of ageing and to fight and protect against free radicals. Ingredients like vegatal glycerol improve the moisture content of the skin.

A good wrinkle cream should reduce the appearance of the fine lines and wrinkles you already have, prevent new ones from appearing and hydrate and promote skin elasticity.
