China CEO, Ron Machan, Named One of the Top 10 People of the Year in the IT Industry

SHANGHAI, China -- BearingPoint, Inc. (NYSE:BE), one of the world's largest management and technology consulting firms, announced today that BearingPoint China has been recognized by the ERP world.net and China Software Industry Association (CSIA) as one of the "Top 10 IT Consulting Firms" and Ron Machan, CEO and chairman of BearingPoint China, is named as one of the "Top 10 People of The Year in the IT Industry" in China.

The awards were selected through an open judging process that included client referrals, expert evaluation, and online voting. Ron Machan was presented with the two awards at the Annual Conference of IT Applications in Beijing, China.
