Bear Stearns and CART to Hold Motorsports Business Forum at the Shell Grand Prix of Denver.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 15, 2002

In a concerted effort to help teams educate prospective sponsors, Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. and Championship Auto Racing Teams, Inc. (CART) announced today that they will be holding a Business-to-Business Forum, Thursday August 29th, at the Shell Grand Prix of Denver.

The B2B (Business to Business) Refers to one business communicating with or selling to another. See B2B e-commerce, B2C and B2G.

 Forum is designed to provide investors and businesses with a thorough understanding of the financial opportunities that exist in CART. In addition to the forum, attendees will have a chance to visit the CART paddock garage area, examine the cars and get a behind-the-scenes look at the CART FedEx Championship Series. Featured speakers at the event include Christopher R. Pook, president and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  of CART, Ed Sachs, executive vice president of sales and marketing at Pioneer Electronics USA and Bob Graham, manager of motorsports sponsorships at Shell Oil Products.
