Bear Stearns Names Arthur Pacheco Product Manager for Its Equity Division.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 4, 2000

Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. announced today that Arthur Pacheco has rejoined the firm as product manager for its Equity Division. Mr. Pacheco, a senior managing director, was president and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Mr. Pacheco originally joined Bear Stearns in 1989 and was promoted to senior managing director in 1991. He has served as the firm's co-manager of over-the-counter trading and as manager of over-the-counter institutional sales. Prior to joining Bear Stearns, he was manager of over-the-counter trading at Cantor Fitzgerald.
