Bear Stearns Expands Equity Derivatives Effort.


NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 2, 1999--

Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. announced today that Christian Arriz and Scott Worcester have joined the firm's Equity Derivatives Group. Mr. Arriz and Mr. Worcester are joining the firm as associate directors and will report to Kevin T. Robik, senior managing director and head trader of equity derivatives for the North and South American regions.

Mr. Arriz will be a Latin America equity derivatives trader and Mr. Worcester an index options trader.

Kevin Robik said, "As our business grows we continue to expand our equity derivatives capabilities to meet our clients' diverse needs. The addition of Christian and Scott signifies our continued commitment to building our expertise in -- and coverage of -- all equity derivative products."
