BeamReach Networks, the leading provider of broadband wireless See wireless broadband.  access systems based on adaptive beamforming technology, announced that it has established product agreements with three industry-leading vendors: Proxim Corporation, Mediatrix, and Filanet.

The three companies are joining BeamReach's newly inaugurated BeamSphere Partner Program, which has been established to facilitate development and interoperability of products and services which are complementary to the BeamPlex system, and which will expand the applications available to business and residential subscribers. Proxim provides localized wireless LAN solutions and residential 802.11 products; Filanet provides advanced security solutions for managed IP services; and Mediatrix provides voice over IP (VOIP (Voice Over IP) A digital telephone service that uses the public Internet as well as private backbones instead of the traditional telephone network.
