Beall named executive vice president of Gannett Broadcasting.

MCLEAN, Va. -- Lynn Beall has been named executive vice president of Gannett Broadcasting, adding to her duties as a member of the Gannett Broadcasting Operating Committee and president and general manager of KSDK-TV in St. Louis.

In her added role, Beall will help manage the division, working closely with Roger Ogden, president and CEO of Broadcasting and senior vice president of Design, Innovation and Strategy for Gannett Co., Inc. (NYSE:GCI).

"Lynn has been an important adviser to me and a key manager of the division for some time now. This new title acknowledges that role, and allows me to lean even more heavily on her extraordinary skills as a television executive," Ogden said. "I couldn't be more pleased that Lynn will be my right hand as Gannett Broadcasting moves forward."

Beall was named Senior Vice President of Gannett Television in August 2001, and became a member of the Gannett Broadcasting Operating Committee in August 2003. She has been president and general manager of KSDK-TV since 1998. From 1994 to 1997, Beall was a general executive/Gannett Television working on special projects and cable retransmission. She has been director of Marketing and Programming at KPNX-TV in Phoenix, AZ, and was national sales manager at W*USA in Washington, DC. Beall was named Gannett Manager of the Year in 2000.

Beall's broadcast career began in Topeka, KS, and she has worked at WDCA-TV in Washington, DC. She has a degree in journalism from the University of Kansas.
