Beacon Power to Unveil New 6 kWh Flywheel At Denver Tradeshow; 'OSP EXPO 2001' Targets Telecommunications Network Professionals.

WILMINGTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 1, 2001

Beacon Power Corporation (Nasdaq: BCON BCON Broadcast Cross Connect (AT&T) ), a leading manufacturer of flywheel energy storage Flywheel Energy Storage (FES) works by accelerating a rotor (flywheel) to a very high speed and maintaining the energy in the system as rotational energy.  EXPO 2001, on November 6-7, 2001. This exposition will be held at the Colorado Convention Center The Colorado Convention Center is a multi-purpose convention center in downtown Denver, Colorado which recently underwent a major expansion. The expansion added 600,000 sq. feet of space and a 5,200 seat concert hall. The total area of the convention center is 1.2 million sq. feet.  in Denver, Colorado. More than 250 products and services that impact infrastructure technologies will be exhibited.
