Beacon Power CEO Bill Capp to Present at Three Technology Investor Conferences in September.


TYNGSBORO, Mass. -- Beacon Power Corporation (Nasdaq: BCON BCON Broadcast Cross Connect (AT&T) ) announced that Bill Capp, its president and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. , will give presentations at three clean technology investor conferences on consecutive days in early September, one of which will be webcast live.

The presentations will take place as Beacon continues to commercialize its flywheel energy storage Flywheel Energy Storage (FES) works by accelerating a rotor (flywheel) to a very high speed and maintaining the energy in the system as rotational energy. The energy is converted back by slowing down the flywheel.  technology for use in grid-scale frequency regulation service.
