Beacon Eye Institute issuing $8 million to $10 million of special warrants -- continuing development of Laser-PRK vision correction.TORONTO, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 6, 1997--BeaconEye Inc. (BEY-TSE), which operates as Beacon Eye Institute ("Beacon"), today announced that it has entered into a special warrant transaction with Yorkton Securities Inc. The Corporation will issue 2.25 million special warrants ("Special Warrants") priced at $3.75 per Special Warrant for gross proceeds of $8.4 million. The Special Warrants will be exercisable into Units of the Corporation ('Unit'). Each Unit will consist of one common share of the Corporation ("Common Share") and one-half of a common share purchase warrant ('Warrant'). Each whole Warrant will entitle the holder to acquire one Common Share of the Corporation at a price of $4.65 for a period of eighteen months from the Closing Date. In addition, Yorkton has the option to increase the size of the offering by up to 0.55 million Special Warrants until noon on the Closing Date.
