Beacon's tastes of the world.


Renowned for its portfolio of roasted and chargrilled vegetable and fruit ranges, relishes, chutneys and compotes, Beacon Foods is now launching the first in its Tastes of the World range.

These will consist of small, concise sets of sauces, relishes and chutneys to mix and match with proteins for sandwiches and salads.

Beacon Foods' first range, Indian Spice Magic, includes a Tikka tikka

She said: "We intend to offer customers a dynamic portfolio of products that will make ingredients, such as plain cooked chicken, totally versatile, reducing the need for several different flavoured, bought-in proteins.

"From the development perspective we provide the solution. For example, a sandwich made with our Tikka Masala sauce, roast chicken, sliced cucumber, fresh coriander coriander (kōr'ēăn`dər), strong-smelling Old World annual herb (Coriandrum sativum) of the family Umbelliferae (parsley family), cultivated for its fruits.  leaves and Kashmiri Tomato Relish or Mango Chutney should utilise only existing ingredients over and above what we can supply (of course a Cobra beer Cobra Beer is a British beer company founded in 1989 by Karan Bilimoria. The company is based in Fulham, southwest London. Originally brewed in Bangalore, India, for export to the United Kingdom, the company now has contract brewing operations in the UK (Charles Wells), Poland,  would be quite nice as well).

"There is a huge opportunity to provide customers with blueprints from different countries for their sandwich development, innovative frameworks of products that will provide them with a creative bedrock.

"We aim to become a development one stop shop for a wealth of countries including Thailand, Mexico, Morocco, Indonesia, Vietnam, Italy, France and Spain.

"Sandwich tastes are fast becoming more multi cultural and we believe we can respond swiftly to this need."
