Beach was a treat; YourSay.

I TOOK my two grandchildren three times during the school holidays, one aged six and one aged three, to the beach in Chamberlain Square, Birmingham, and they thought it was simply wonderful. All the people round about us were enjoying themselves.

In the Mail last Thursday a man wrote in to say he thought it was so cheap and tatty and he'd seen better places on a builder's site.

But I want to say, how would he go on about getting anything ready and putting anything away without making a terrible mess? I think Birmingham did a great job doing the beach and the floral trail was simply marvellous.
