Beach Solutions Jumpstarts SPIRIT 1.0 Compliance With EASI IP Developer Package.

GRENOBLE, France -- More Than 250 IP Providers to Be SPIRIT 1.0-Compliant Through Beach's IP Packaging and VCX Gateway Offerings

Beach Solutions, a founding member of the SPIRIT Consortium - http://www.spiritconsortium.com -, announces the launch of EASI IP(TM) Developer Package, a SPIRIT 1.0 compliant IP Capture Tool, which enables IP developers to package their IP blocks based on the industry-defined SPIRIT standard to allow improved interoperability for IP blocks between EDA tools.

Beach is making the EASI IP Developer Package available to all IP providers currently listed on the VCX Gateway, an IP infrastructure capability acquired recently by Beach through its purchase of VCX Software, Ltd. More than 250 VCX Gateway IP providers will now be able to package their IP as SPIRIT 1.0 compatible and publish this IP through the VCX Gateway. Beach has converted the IP in the VCX Gateway into SPIRIT format and now has the largest SPIRIT IP catalog with over 3000 components.

IP can be listed as SPIRIT 1.0 compliant on the VCX Gateway, once it has passed the compliance rule checks which form part of the EASI IP product. At the IPSOC show, Beach is demonstrating the ARM PrimeCells in SPIRIT format working in Beach EASI Studio with Multi-Layer AMBA Bus Synthesis.

Beach is providing a capability for designers to search the VCX Gateway for SPIRIT 1.0 compliant IP from all of the VCX Powered(TM) websites
