Be ready for the return of colour, chiffon and tie-dyes; Fashion & beauty TRENDS.

THE DULL days of winter are far from over yet but the world of fashion has a lot to offer in terms of cheerful, colourful new spring outfits.

Boho is one of the big looks for this year - in all its multi-coloured, heavily patterned splendour. No wardrobe should be completed without a chiffon, printed top; tiered tie-dyed skirt; or full-length dress in Indian-inspired colours or batik designs.

It's an easy fashion to wear if you dare.

Long tops or short dresses can be teamed with leggings and boots or jeans; while vibrant skirts need no more than a plain cotton T-shirt or camisole and cardigan.

Blouson tops are flattering on all figures and have the potential to hide those parts that you wish you didn't have in quite such abundance. However, if you are on the larger side then tone down the colour and the size of the print. Remember, big, bold patterns draw the eye.

Opt instead for more muted colour combinations and small, regular prints in deeper shades or plain voiles and chiffons.

Accessorising the Boho look is also easy - look out for big bangles, long chains with large stones; and dangly earrings.

When the weather warms up we'll be teaming our Boho outfits with gladiator sandals and cork platforms, but for now dig out those fringed boots and cowboy boots.
