 that time of year again, dark in the morning rush hour and also in the evening - the time of year when some drivers are faced with the difficult question, lights on or off ? If those drivers who choose not to show lights in the gloom gloom

 realised not only how silly they look, but also how dangerous they are to themselves, their passengers, other road users and pedestrians, then common sense would surely tell them to switch their lights on.

I have often wondered why some drivers don't have their lights on during these dawn and dusk periods and have reached the f ollowing conclusions: I didn't think to put them on I forgot I don't see why I should, it's morning after all I can't be bothered I thought they were on I use more fuel when they are on I can see all right without them When you're on the side of the road looking at your wrecked wrecked

 car, or even worse, just think, would this have happened if I could have been seen earlier? I have designed a couple of posters (pictured left) - perhaps through the Viewpoints page I could start an awareness campaign. Maybe some lives may be saved...
