BARRY ROBSON Barry Robson (born November 7, 1978 in Aberdeen) is a Scottish footballer who currently plays for (and captains) Dundee United in the Scottish Premier League. His usual positions are on the left wing or in central midfield.  hailed Paddy McCourt's wonder strike against Falkirk - then insisted there was much more to come from the Irishman.

Robson said: "Paddy was outstanding and his goal was sensational. He is a talented kid and showed how much ability he has.

"It is hard coming over to this club with so much expectations but he has everything to do very well here.

"Paddy's problem has been trying to adapt to the pace of the game but he has been working incredibly hard on his fitness and is looking much fitter now.

Applaud "The amount of running on the ball he does makes him look tired when tracking back but he is coming on stronger and should be proud of the way he played."

Robson went off hurt after his first start of the season but manager Tony Mowbray confirmed there was nothing to worry about and said: "Barry was struck in a very delicate area but there's no injury setback."

Falkirk boss Eddie May insisted his players should have prevented McCourt from scoring and said: "I applaud his skill but we have to be better."

May was raging with his side but is convinced it won't be long before they get their first win of the season.

Falkirk face Kilmarnock on Saturday and May said: "We were very poor tonight but Saturday is a bigger game for us."
