Bayview Financial, L.P. Promotes Brian Lawson to Lead Loan Acquisitions Sales Team.

MIAMI -- Bayview Financial[R], an $11 billion real estate lending and investment finance company, announced today the promotion of Brian Lawson to senior vice president and national sales manager of the company.

In his new position, Lawson will manage the recruitment, development and performance of a 25-person sales and support team. He will develop sales strategy and align personnel and programs to effectively meet team goals, including the acquisition of more than $2 billion in annual loan volume. Additionally, Lawson will serve on the management team, developing and executing sales and marketing plans to ensure profitable growth for Bayview Financial.

Prior to his promotion, Lawson served as vice president of sales for the Seller Finance Division of InterBay Funding, LLC, a subsidiary of Bayview Financial. In this position, he managed the recruitment, development and performance of a team of sales professionals, while ensuring the team met and exceeded its sales goals. Lawson was instrumental in tripling InterBay's volume from $100 million to more than $300 million during his five-year tenure.

Prior to joining Bayview Financial, Lawson acted as servicing manager for Irving, Texas-based Colonial Financial Services, Inc., where he oversaw all servicing functions, including loan setup, customer service, collections and asset management. Lawson also spent three years with Allentown, Penn.-based NationsCredit Financial Services, where he acted as a branch manager, responsible for the P&L (profits and losses) of the consumer finance branch.

Lawson is a four-year veteran of the U.S. Army, where he served as a cryptologic linguist supervising the detection, acquisition, location and identification of foreign communications using signals equipment.

Lawson received a bachelor of arts in Sociology from the University of the State of New York, Regents College, now known as Excelsior College.
