Baylis Logistics T: 0117 937 3663 has announced the appointment of Dale Fiddy as commercial director. Fiddy renews his association with managing director Thomas van Mourik, having spent 10 years working with van Mourik at Culina Logistics and having worked over the last seven months as an independent consultant. Fiddy will be responsible for new business development and for the management of key accounts at Baylis. "Dale was the driving force behind the commercial team at Culina and played a key role in the company's rise to its position as the country's leading chilled third party logistics provider," says van Mourik. "I am confident he can do a similar job at Baylis--using our network operation to grow our share of the grocery market and to expand the business into other areas."

"Baylis is looking to introduce the disciplines of the temperature controlled logistics sector into the ambient market, to build stronger relationships with customers and to work with them in order to strengthen their supply chains," says Fiddy.
