Baylis Joins Domain Logix Corporation; The `High Priest' of Semiconductor Equipment Integration Software Joins Startup as Vice President, Product Engineering.

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 2, 1999--

Domain Logix Corporation (DLC) today announced that Charles Baylis, formerly of Baylis Automation, Brooks Automation/FASTech Integration, and Lights Out Software has joined startup Domain Logix Corporation as the new leader of software product engineering and product development.

Baylis, well known throughout the semiconductor industry, is credited with the design and development of products related to equipment automation, e.g., Streamline, Grapeq, WinSECS, and TOM (Tool Object Model; now owned and marketed by Brooks Automation as STATIONworks), as well as other software and communication standards within the industry. TOM is currently considered the semiconductor industry's most popular equipment interface technology; i.e., de facto standard, and Baylis has also been recognized for contribution to SEMI Standards initiatives, most recently OBEM (Object Based Equipment Model).
