The toluene diisocyanate Toluene diisocyanate (TDI) is an aromatic diisocyanate. It is produced for reaction with polyols to form polyurethanes. It exists in two isomers, 2,4-TDI (CAS: 584-84-9) and 2,6-TDI (CAS: 91-08-7). (TDI TDI - Transport Driver Interface ) facility at the Bayer MaterialScience Bayer MaterialScience (BMS) is an independent subgroup within Bayer AG. It was created as part of the restructuring of Bayer AG from the former business group Bayer Polymers, with certain of its activities being spun off to Lanxess AG. plant in New Martinsville, WV, which produced 110 million pounds of TDI annually, has been closed. The 30 employees affected by the closure were reassigned to other jobs.
