Bayer Honors Top 13 Suppliers.

PITTSBURGH -- Bayer Corporation (NYSE:BAY) today honored its top 13 North American suppliers with the corporation's Look of a Leader Award for 2004 performance.

The winners, selected annually, were chosen from among thousands of suppliers that provide Bayer with more than $5 billion in raw materials, services and supplies for Bayer MaterialScience, Bayer HealthCare and Bayer CropScience operations.

Honored were AlliedBarton Security Services of King of Prussia, Pa.; CCL Label Inc. of Framingham, Mass.; Junge Control Inc. of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Linde Gas LLC of Independence, Ohio; Marriott International, Inc. of Washington, D.C.; Mossberg and Company Inc., of South Bend, Ind.; Offset Imprenta, S.A. de CV of Tolentino, Mexico; Russell-Stanley Corporation of Bridgewater, N.J.; Sunbelt Supply Company of Houston; Vita Health Products of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; Vitusa Products, Inc. of Berkeley Heights, N.J.; WorldTravel BTI of Atlanta; and York Container Company of York, Pa.

Bayer's premier suppliers meet rigorous quality, performance, technology and cost reduction criteria, according to Bayer Chief Procurement Officer Tim Roseberry.
