Bayer CropScience announces the introduction of TRILEX AL seed-applied fungicide for soybeans soybean /soy·bean/ (soi´ben) the bean of the leguminous plant, Glycine max, which contains little starch but is rich in protein and phytoestrogens.. TRILEX AL offers a broad spectrum of disease protection, including protecting soybean seeds and seedlings against seedborne fungi that may cause seed decay. It also protects soybeans against Rhizoctonia and Pythium spp., which are soilborne pathogens that cause seed and seedling damping damping /damp·ing/ (damp´ing) steady diminution of the amplitude of successive vibrations of a specific form of energy, as of electricity.-off.
"As cultural practices of growing soybeans have changed, more acres of soybeans are being treated with fungicides every year to protect the valuable seed," says Paul Holliday, Bayer CropScience product manager.
