Bayer CropScience, Research Triangle Park, N.C., names Bernd Naaf as head of U.S. business operations. Naaf began his career with Bayer in 1978 with the crop protection business group. He progressed through several sales positions throughout England and Europe, later returning to England to head the country's crop protection business. He then transferred to the business group's headquarters in Monheim, Germany, as head of business planning and administration.
