Bayer CropScience has appointed William Buckner as country head of its Crop Protection business. In this capacity, Buckner will assume full responsibility for the Crop Protection business in the United States.

Also, Geoff Kneen is named head of marketing and portfolio management for the company's U.S. crop protection business. A native of England, Kneen assumes responsibility for the marketing strategy and portfolio management of the more than 80 Bayer CropScience crop protection products in the U.S. He takes over from John Gray, who now heads the crop protection business for Bayer CropScience in Japan.
