Bayer's crop protection business group has selected two principal locations for its future Bayer CropScience North American operations. Research Triangle Park, N.C., will be the site for the company's crop science business headquarters, with general management, administrative, business operations and regulatory activities based there. Kansas City, Mo., will become the company's core technology center, overseeing its manufacturing and formulation operations, and a certain number of research and development activities. Also, the company's U.S. regional sales offices will be relocated to Kansas City.
