Bayer CropScience LP in the United States and Bayer CropScience Inc. in Canada purchase Crompton Corporation's 50 percent share of the Gustafson seed treatment business in the United States, Canada and Mexico for the price of $124 million in cash.

The United States is the world's third largest country in population and the fourth largest country in area.  and Bayer CropScience Inc. in Canada purchase Crompton Corporation's 50 percent share of the Gustafson seed treatment business in the United States, Canada and Mexico for the price of $124 million in cash. The action gives Bayer CropScience, which already holds a 50 percent share of the U.S. and Canadian Canadian (kənā`dēən), river, 906 mi (1,458 km) long, rising in NE New Mexico. and flowing E across N Texas and central Oklahoma into the Arkansas River in E Oklahoma.  Gustafson joint ventures, full ownership of Gustafson's NAFTA NAFTA

According to the 2000 U.S. , and Calgary, Alberta, the company employs about 250 people in the NAFTA region.
