Bay View Capital to Commence Trading On NYSE.SAN MATEO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 31, 1999--Bay View Capital Corporation (the "Company") (Nasdaq:BVCC BVCC Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce (Whitinsville, Massachusetts) BVCC Buena Vista Construction Company ) today announced that it will commence trading on the New York Stock Exchange New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) World's largest marketplace for securities. The exchange began as an informal meeting of 24 men in 1792 on what is now Wall Street in New York City. ("NYSE NYSE See: New York Stock Exchange ") effective Thursday, April 1, 1999.
