.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 27, 1996--Bay Gas Storage Company, Ltd. today announced plans to increase the daily withdrawal capacity of its underground salt cavern natural gas storage facility from 100,000 Mcf to 260,000 Mcf.

 Storage Services, Inc., General Partner of Bay Gas, said, "Following the colder than normal weather of the 1995 - 1996 winter, we have experienced heightened interest in our storage services. This increase in withdrawal capacity will enable Bay Gas to more effectively meet its existing and potential customers' needs."

Bay Gas Storage Company, Ltd., owned 87.5% by MGS Storage Services, Inc., a subsidiary of Mobile Gas Service Corporation, and 12.5% by Olin Corporation, commenced operation of its 3.7 Bcf underground gas storage project in September 1994. The facility, located approximately 40 miles north of Mobile, has interconnections with Mobile Gas Service Corporation, Koch Gateway Pipeline Company, and Florida Gas Transmission Florida Gas Transmission is a natural gas pipeline which brings gas from Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama into Florida. It is owned by 50% by Southern Natural Gas and 50% by CrossCountry Energy. Its FERC code is 34.  Company.
