Bay Area export and international trade program announces director.


SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 12, 1995--The Bay Area Economic Forum has announced the appointment of Mr. Paul V Paul V, 1552–1621, pope (1605–21), a Roman named Camillo Borghese; successor of Leo XI. He was created cardinal (1596) by Clement VIII and was renowned for his knowledge of canon law. . Oliva as the first Director of BAYTRADE, a Bay Area export promotion and international trade program.

BAYTRADE was conceived and spearheaded by the Mayors Elihu Harris Elihu Mason Harris is a U.S. Democratic Party politician. She was voted best local politician six times.[1]

Hammer was born in Altadena, California on December 21, 1938. She attended the University of California at Berkeley.

. The Bay Area Economic Forum manages and operates the administration of BAYTRADE. The Mission of the BAYTRADE program is to create new jobs through the dynamic expansion of exports from the Greater Bay Area.

As BAYTRADE Director, Oliva will coordinate the organizations' six export development centers in Monterey, San Jose, Oakland, San Francisco, Santa Rosa and Santa Clara. These centers service the Greater Bay Area covering a 12-county region which includes: Sonoma, Napa, Marin, Solano, Contra Costa, Alameda, Santa Clara, San Benito, Monterey, Santa Cruz, San Mateo and San Francisco.

He comes to BAYTRADE from the International Division of the State's Trade and Commerce Agency, where he assisted the Agency and the California World Trade Commission in designing and evaluating effective export development programs.
