Bay Area Publisher Takes Helm of City & Regional Magazine Association.


LOS ANGELES Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  -- Barney Fonzi, group publisher of Diablo magazine, has been elected president of the City & Regional Magazine Association.

He's been with the firm 21 years and helped guide the company as it grew from just five employees to more than 50 today. He's responsible for sales, marketing and editorial components of the magazine as well as Diablo Publications' seven other publications.
