) announced today that Mark M. Sieczkarek, senior vice president and president - Americas Region, is leaving the company, effective January 31, 2003, to pursue career opportunities elsewhere.

Sieczkarek joined Bausch & Lomb in 1995 and held positions as vice president and controller of both the former Personal Products Division and the former North American North American

 Vision Care division; staff vice president - Business Development; vice president - Finance and Information Technology for the surgical products business; and president - Europe, Middle East and Africa Region.
