The Tasertron Taser Area Denial Device was awarded U.S. Patent No. 5,936,183 with a term through Dec. 16, 2017. The TADD provides force protection, facilities protection and perimeter control. The multi-shot and fully reloadable device features a remote alarm and control system that permits the capture of incapacitated in·ca·pac·i·tate tr.v. in·ca·pac·i·tat·ed, in·ca·pac·i·tat·ing, in·ca·pac·i·tates 1. To deprive of strength or ability; disable. 2. To make legally ineligible; disqualify. intruders by nearby troops. The device can be combined with video cameras to permit manual remote firing from an observation point to avoid accidental tripping in high traffic areas. The non-lethal TADD also has applications as an unmanned, non-lethal, perimeter control device for Border Patrol and Corrections use. The Volcano-Launched Taser Munition was awarded U.S. Patent No. 5,955,695 with a term through Dec. 16, 2017. The Volcano-Launched Taser Munition is a small, disposable, munition utilized in a high-density battlefield scenario.
