Battle Mountain Gold Confirms Gold in Water Anomaly.RENO, Nev. -- Battle Mountain Gold Exploration Corp. It consists of the tympanum, or triangular wall surface, enclosed below by the horizontal cornice and above by the raking cornice, which follows the Gold LLC (Logical Link Control) See "LANs" under data link protocol. LLC - Logical Link Control ("Pediment Gold"), has completed additional water sampling at its "Fletcher Junction" gold project which has confirmed the presence of highly anomalous gold in spring water (up to 4,802 parts per trillion gold) discharging from beneath a thin cover of a very young basalt basalt (bəsôlt`, băs`ôlt), fine-grained rock of volcanic origin, dark gray, dark green, brown, reddish, or black in color. Basalt is an igneous rock, i.e., one that has congealed from a molten state. volcanic flow. The project area is within the volcanic-hosted Aurora District along the Walker Lane Gold Trend, a regional alignment of major gold deposits (Comstock Lode Comstock Lode, richest known U.S. silver deposit, W Nevada, on Mt. Davidson in the Virginia Range. It is said to have been discovered in 1857 by Ethan Allen Grosh and Hosea Ballou Grosh, sons of a Pennsylvania minister and veterans of the California gold fields who , +8 million ounces: Goldfields n. 1. Map can be viewed at www.bmegold.com Concept Summary The Fletcher Junction Project Area now contains twelve extremely anomalous gold in water samples from three sample sites scattered over a distance of one mile. BMGX believes these samples are indicative of a nearby oxidixing, gold-in-bedrock source. The water from all three sample sites is flowing from beneath a thin cover of very young volcanic basalt flow. Unique structural patterns known to control hydrothermal hydrothermal, hydrothermic relating to the temperature effects of water, as in hot baths. alteration and mineralization Mineralization The process by which the body uses minerals to build bone structure. As previously reported, the Fletcher Junction Project Area land position now consists of a contiguous block of 342 unpatented lode claims (7,067 acres or 11.0 square miles) owned by Battle Mountain Gold Exploration's Joint Venture Company, Pediment Gold LLC. Permitting with the U.S. Forest Service is currently being processed for ten, shallow, vertical and angle drill holes to test a four mile long Target Structural Zone. Anomalous Gold in Water The Fletcher Junction Project Area is nearly five miles north of the Aurora mining district. Two springs, nearly a mile apart, drain areas sourced from beneath an overlying overlying suffocation of piglets by the sow. The piglets may be weak from illness or malnutrition, the sow may be clumsy or ill, the pen may be inadequate in size or poorly designed so that piglets cannot escape. cap of basalt and down stream from the Fletcher Junction Target Zone. Two samples returned 1,749 ppt ppt abbr. 1. parts per thousand 2. parts per trillion and 4,189 parts per trillion gold, with the higher value closer to the envisioned bedrock source. The sites reporting elevated gold values were then re-sampled by a different sampler, using a slightly different sampling protocol, at a different time, under different weather conditions and slightly different locations to verify the initial results. The re-sampled results are in very close agreement with the original samples (1,848 parts per trillion (ppt) versus 1,749 ppt and 4,588 versus 4,189 ppt). Additionally, two other springs were located and sampled slightly closer to the projected Target Zone and reported 4,802 ppt and 3,062 ppt respectively. A third pass re-sampled Aurora Creek (with good agreement) and one of the previously sampled springs (again, with good agreement). Five additional samples were collected at intervals coming or happening with intervals between; now and then. See also: Interval farther downstream to establish a surface decay profile and to provide further confirmation of the extremely anomalous character of the area. Values decayed over a distance of one mile downstream in a regular manner which strongly suggests the bedrock source is very near. The source of the Fletcher Junction anomalous gold in water is thought to be a set of high-angle, NE-striking quartz veins beneath the thin cover of the young volcanic basalt flows that may project for a strike length of 2 to as much as 4 miles. Based upon prior experience with gold in water from other areas within the state it seems highly possible that the Fletcher Junction Structural Zone is associated with a significant gold-bearing bedrock source. ABOUT BATTLE MOUNTAIN GOLD Battle Mountain Gold Exploration Corporation (OTCBB OTCBB See OTC Bulletin Board (OTCBB). Symbol BMGX) is unlike any other mineral exploration company. BMGX is the first gold exploration company in Nevada to apply the concept of using water chemistry to locate new gold deposits. The reader is encouraged to review a detailed description of the proprietary ground-water chemistry exploration program on the Company's website at www.bmegold.com to gain a better understanding of the importance of this new technology to the discovery of new gold deposits in Nevada. A brief overview can be found as the latest corporate presentation - www.bmegold.com/ir/presentation/index.htm. Additional information on this technology will continue to be posted, as the Company enlarges and solidifies its land position and industry lead in the use of water chemistry in Nevada. BMGX is a minerals exploration company headquartered in Reno, Nevada.
