PEOPLE are being encouraged to recycle their hearing aids Hearing Aids Definition

A hearing aid is a device that can amplify sound waves in order to help a deaf or hard-of-hearing person hear sounds more clearly.
 as part of a scheme to reduce the amount of waste going to landfill.

Hearing Aid Solutions are taking part in a Batt Box trial to help reduce the 20,000 tonnes of hearing aid batteries thrown away each year.

The scheme, initiated by hearing aid battery maker Rayovac, invites people to bring in dead hearing aid batteries to be recycled responsibly.
