Battery Ventures Expands West Coast Operations With Appointment of Roger Lee to Senior Associate.

Battery Ventures, a leading venture capital firm focused on technology investments, today announced that the former co-founder of Corio (NASD - CRIO), Roger Lee, has joined the firm's west coast office as a senior associate. In his new position at Battery, Roger will focus on investments in the enterprise software and Internet infrastructure markets.

Roger brings to Battery a proven track record of growing early stage companies into successful businesses. Prior to joining Battery, Roger was a co-founder of Corio, a leading managed service provider that went public in July 2000. During his tenure at Corio, Roger first oversaw all business development activities and later became the General Manager of the eCommerce business unit.

Prior to Corio, Roger worked as the Manager of Internet Products at Edify Corporation where he was responsible for multiple product launches of both the Electronic Workforce and Employee Self Service software applications. Previous to that, he was the co-founder and President of NetMarket, a software and services company that developed transaction security software for the Internet. NetMarket was acquired by Cendant Corporation in November of 1994.
